The Obniz very frequently (several times a minute) drops the WIFI connection and goes back to "wifi scanning".
This seems to happen even faster when I issue API calls to the device.

Hi....my thought is crowded wifi environment, gateway keeps changing channels resulting in a drop to wireless devices. If hardwired device(s) also drop suggests signal issue to gateway. Do you have Uverse IPTV service? If yes, are the receivers losing service as well?
